Christmas Bed Runner

My aunt Kathy sews beautiful quilts, and our family is lucky enough to be a recipient of a couple.

This quilt is Kylee's.  The colors are fun and vibrant.  We call it her "summer blanket" because it was the perfect quilt to cover her in the summer while she slept.  Even now that it's winter, whenever she is hot at night she will ask for her summer blanket.

This next one was my birthday present this year.  I also love the colors here, and I love how Kathy personalized it for me... complete with the Harley logo :-)  She also used fabric that she purchased in Kimberly, Idaho while attending our wedding in February.

Then, in October when Kathy was here for BJ's wedding, Kathy gave us our Christmas present... just a little early :-)  She gave us this beautiful Christmas bed runner.  She knew we had white bedding and that this would be the perfect way to dress up our room during the holiday season.  We love it.  The colors are rich, and it makes our room feel fancy.  Thank you Kathy - it's gorgeous!  We love you!
