Book Club

I love being in a book club!  I enjoy reading books I may not normally pick up off the shelf, hearing different opinions and perspectives on the same book, and of course, enjoying dinner once a month with friends.  Jen and I established book club in September 2010 and we went strong for a couple of years. We took a little break after I had Tyler, but have started back up! We are only meeting quarterly now, and are rotating hosts, but that makes things a little more manageable with kiddos in the picture.

We are currently reading The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.

I'm also in another book club with some of my wonderful neighbors. We are currently reading Running for My Life: One Lost Boy's Journey from the Killing Fields of Sudan to the Olympic Games.
