Citizenship Award

A few weeks ago I got a call from Kylee's kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Ireland. She told me that she had selected Kylee for the Paramount Elementary Citizenship Award. She said that each month over the school year she has selected someone to be awarded for the different value "pillars" - respect, responsibility, caring, fairness, and trustworthiness. She went on to explain that she purposely waited to give Kylee an award because "citizenship" encompasses all of these values and she knew she wanted to give this special award to Kylee.

Matt and I are so proud of Kylee. We are happy that not only is she doing well in school, but she is such a good girl. We pretty much hit the jackpot with her. Matt, Tyler, and I were all able to attend her special assembly on Friday where she was awarded with her certificate and a flower. We sure love this sweet girl!
