You are ten months old today! And what a month you've had. The biggest excitement of this last month is you learned how to crawl! You can now get pretty much anywhere you want now (although not always as fast as you want). You're even half way decent at crawling up the stairs. Think it's time for mommy and daddy to invest in some baby gates so you don't hurt yourself!
I've also decided that getting you dressed or changing your diaper should be an Olympic sport. You wiggle and roll and fight me, making it SO difficult. Ugh, it is quite the workout!
You love standing up, but that's nothing new! You will pull yourself up on anything you can.
You aren't quite ready to walk yet, but you sure had fun playing with Grandpa!
Just this last week you discovered the dishwasher. Looks like I've gotta start being more careful & keep the dishwasher door closed!
You love "eating" books, but you also love when I read books to you. You usually sit and listen quite well! I'm thinking we might need to get you some new books for your birthday or Christmas.
You've also discovered the door stops & think they are pretty amazing. A door stop can keep you entertained for quite some time! Matchbox cars are another favorite of yours, especially when your sister or dad play with you.
You are still growing so well! You are up to 17.5 pounds and got your fourth haircut this month! You also continue to eat well. You are really loving eating meats - chicken noodle and chicken with vegetables are some of your favorites. About a week and a half ago, your appetite changed a bit though, because you got sick. Poor kiddo - I felt so bad. I think your throat was sore (making it no fun to eat!), but I'm glad that you're finally feeling a little better.
Unfortunately, since you got sick, you haven't been sleeping as well either. You are now waking up once or twice in the night and thinking you need to eat. Let's see what we can do this next month to get back to sleeping through the night, okay? I've been one tired mama lately!
Overall, though, you are such a joy. We love you to pieces.
Love,
Mom
Crawling?! By the time I see him again he will be walking! Slow down Tyler! I love that picture of him with the door stop. He looks so fascinated!
