Meridian Temple Site Visit

We are so excited that the Meridian Temple is being built so close to our home. We could literally walk there if we wanted to. I was looking through some pictures on my phone and realized I never blogged about our little excursion to the temple site last month. We decided to take advantage of a day off school and go check out the progress on the temple. They are still in the very early stages, but it was fun to see the tractors :-) We also went to the "visitor's center" and took home "temple rocks".

Tyler - 16 Months

Phew, I'm glad this last month is over. It wasn't the best month for Tyler :-) Tyler was extra whiny, threw lots of temper tantrums, refused to eat pretty much anything, etc. Here's to hoping this next month is better!

• Tyler is still the best mess maker.

• He has only wanted to eat granola bars, cookies, or cereal. I know, mom of the year right here.

• He has started enjoying brushing his teeth (but doesn't like that I take a turn first!)

• I love how curious Tyler is. And how he just "figures things out". Here he is with one of his recent "games" - putting tampons that he found under the bathroom sink through the hole in the top of the step stool.

• He is fascinated by the music on the closing credits of any show.
• He still loves baths, but doesn't like to get his hair washed. He would rather splash around and play.
• Good thing he enjoys the occasional cuddle. It makes me forget about the tantrums, messes, and poor eating, even if just for a few minutes.
