Bradley - [1 Year]

I can't believe it's already been ONE YEAR since this sweet boy joined our family. He has made this past year so special. I can't imagine life without my happy, laid back, busy boy.

  • Bradley's favorite toys are balls. He loves playing catch and rolling a ball and then chasing it around the house.

  •  He doesn't mind sitting in the stroller... he is usually happy as can be (which in turn makes me happy!).

  • He just started taking a few steps on his own, but will walk anywhere if he is holding on to something. He thinks these carts at the library are pretty cool.

  •  He discovered the faucets on the bathtub... on, off, on, off.

  • Speaking of the bathtub, he still loves baths. His new favorite thing is to push down the water stopper when I pull it up to drain the tub. We do this over and over and over again until the tub is completely drained. He giggles the entire time.
  • No matter how many times I try to work with him to come down the stairs backwards on his belly, Bradley can't figure out how to come down the stairs! Therefore, I have tried to block the stairs so he can't go up. I don't have a baby gate, but these plastic tubs worked for a while. When he started moving those out of the way, I added weights inside the tubs. Still no match for him, I put additional obstacles in front of the tubs. Now I have completely given up and just have to chase him up the stairs all day! He giggles and squeals when he sees me coming to get him.

  •  Still climbs up ANYTHING. And yes, I need to clean my pantry. Big time.

  • Bradley is such a good eater and that makes me so happy... especially that he eats most of his food on his own without my help :-) He is a good solid kiddo, but is proportioned! He weighs 25 pounds 9.6 ounces (95th percentile) and is 31.5" tall (96th percentile).

  • He loves playing outside with his sister, brother, and the neighbor kids. He especially loves riding in his new "car". I think he thinks he is one of the big kids now.

We had a really low-key, casual birthday party for Bradley. From the first picture in this post, he obviously loved his cake. Here are a few more pictures from the evening.
